Service: What You Can Do for Your Country

If there's one thing that John McCain and Barack Obama can agree on, it's that Americans are ready and willing to serve their country in a post-9/11 world. In this spirit of creating a stronger national community, a bipartisan campaign dubbed ServiceNation seeks to help build a new era of civic engagement.

More than 100 local, state, and national organizations and companies are supporting the work of ServiceNation by mobilizing their constituencies and organizing events, while "Change Agents" from across the country are busy spreading the word about national service.
